Connecticut High School Basketball - Wamogo topped by Northwestern Regional
January 8, 2024: Litchfield, CT 06759 The Northwestern Regional Highlanders basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Wamogo Warriors to 39 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Monday.
The Highlanders now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Housatonic-Wamogo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Northwestern Regional will battle a Mountaineers team coming off a 79-57 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-6.
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Shepaug Valley prevailed over Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 93-42, in a league contest.
