Alabama High School Basketball - Glenwood winner over Macon-East Montgomery Academy

The Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) basketball felled the host Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL), 51-33 in Thursday's league test.

The Gators (19-7) will now prepare for their test against Springwood (Lanett, AL). The Wildcats go into the AISA AAA Region 1 test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Springwood thwarted Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL), 61-50, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Hooper Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will clash with a Colts squad coming off a 64-60 league win over Autauga Academy (Prattville, AL). The Colts record now stands at 12-5.
