Oregon High School Basketball - Camas Valley triumphant over Powers
January 18, 2025: Camas Valley, OR 97416 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Camas Valley Hornets (Camas Valley, OR) and the visiting Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR), observed Camas Valley's basketball team overwhelm Powers by a score of 66-39.
The Hornets (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR). The Eagles come into the 1A Skyline challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Yoncalla was routed by North Douglas (Drain, OR), 77-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cruisers encounter the New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Friday, January 24. Powers will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 58-39 league loss to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR).
