The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) and the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), observed Roswell's basketball team knock off Lovington by a score of 59-43.

The Coyotes (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Artesia prevailed over Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 61-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 21.
