The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Lovington Wildcats to 48 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 15-14 record. They play next when they travel to Artesia for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 12. Valley will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 91-57 non-league win over Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-9.

With the loss, Lovington falls to 18-11 on the campaign.
