The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM), observed Taos's basketball team knock off Valley by a score of 64-52.

The Tigers (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Gallup dropped by Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM), 58-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
