Oklahoma High School Basketball - Atoka overwhelms Vian
January 18, 2025: Vian, OK 74962 The Atoka Wampus Cats basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Vian Wolverines to 16 in the Wampus Cats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wampus Cats now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Broken Bow for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Atoka will confront a Savages team coming off a 59-31 league win over Hugo (Hugo, OK). The Savages record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Vian falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Central (Sallisaw, OK) to confront the Tigers in a Big Eight game on Tuesday, January 21. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 9-3. Central won 60-40 in their recent non-league game against Gore (Gore, OK)
