In Saturday's non-league test, the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) basketball squad got by the visiting Hardaway Hawks (Columbus, GA), by a score of 60-57.

Next, the Buccaneers clash with the Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL) in a non-league test, on Monday, January 20. Hoover will attempt to improve on its 23-3 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 24-0 record after their 78-34 league win over Thompson (Alabaster, AL).
