Washington High School Basketball - Mt. Baker toppled by Anacortes
January 18, 2025: Anacortes, WA 98221 Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), 49-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Anacortes advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Seahawks travel to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to face the Lyncs in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. The Lyncs enter the match with a record of 11-1. Lynden Christian won 67-48 in their recent non-league match against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA)
The Mountaineers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nooksack Valley for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 22. Mt. Baker will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 68-29 non-league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Pioneers record now stands at 12-0.
