Ohio High School Basketball - Padua Franciscan overwhelmed by Berea-Midpark
January 19, 2022: Parma, OH 44134 The Berea-Midpark Titans basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Padua Franciscan Bruins to 37 in the Titans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Titans now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elyria for a Southwestern contest on Saturday, January 22. Berea-Midpark will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Midview (Grafton, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-11.
The Bruins (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Villa Angela-St. Joseph was routed by Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH), 45-40, in a non-league contest.
