With the win, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Patriots host Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to clash with the Sentinels in a State Championship bout on Monday, January 23. The Sentinels go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Smithfield won 73-59 in their recent league bout against Cranston East (Cranston, RI)

Next up, the Kilties clash with the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a State Championship bout, on Monday, January 23. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
