Ohio High School Basketball - Memorial tops Shawnee
January 19, 2023: Lima, OH 45806 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Memorial Roughriders (St. Marys, OH) and the host Shawnee Indians (Lima, OH), saw Memorial's basketball squad knock off Shawnee by a count of 44-33.
With the victory, Memorial upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Minster (Minster, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Minster lost 49-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri-Village (New Madison, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Shawnee will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 41-37 league loss to Jefferson (Delphos, OH).
