The Holy Cross Knights basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Archbishop Molloy Stanners to 59 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Loughlin for a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest on Sunday, January 21. Holy Cross will battle a Lions team coming off a 103-73 league loss to St. Raymond Boys (Bronx, NY). The Lions record now stands at 3-13.

The Stanners (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth (Brooklyn, NY). The Kingsmen come into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Nazareth was nudged by St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA), 67-59, in a non-league contest.
