New York High School Basketball - Xaverian topples Archbishop Molloy
December 12, 2023: Brooklyn, NY 11209 In Tuesday's league outing, the Xaverian Clippers (Brooklyn, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Archbishop Molloy Stanners (Queens, NY), by a margin of 56-38.
The Clippers (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY). The Terriers go into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, St. Francis Prep was beaten by Christ the King (Middle Village, NY), 73-55, in a league outing.
The Stanners now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 16. Archbishop Molloy will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 67-33 league win over Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-1.
