Maine High School Basketball - Gorham tipped by Deering
January 19, 2024: Portland, ME 04103 The Deering Rams basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Gorham Rams to 61 in the Rams league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thornton Academy for a AA South contest on Tuesday, January 23. Deering will meet a Trojans team coming off a 53-40 league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 5-10.
The Rams (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Scots enter the AA South contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Bonny Eagle nudged Westbrook (Westbrook, ME), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
