The Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) basketball knocked off the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 41-33 in Friday's league test.

The Royals (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Raiders go into the Mid-Eastern test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Shenandoah went down by Tri (Straughn, IN), 48-44, in a non-league test.

The Golden Bears now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Blackford for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Monroe Central will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 57-39 league loss to Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 9-6.
