North Carolina High School Basketball - West Rowan nudges Lake Norman Charter

January 19, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078

In Friday's league outing, the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) basketball squad edged the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), by a margin of 52-51.

The Falcons (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Raiders go into the 3A South Piedmont outing with a 0-14 record. In their last outing, South Rowan was tipped by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 85-49, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to East Rowan for a 3A South Piedmont outing on Tuesday, January 23. Lake Norman Charter will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 111-37 league loss to Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-13.
