North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincoln Charter tops Mountain Island Charter

Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), 93-77 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln Charter upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Corvian Community (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cardinals in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Corvian Community won 79-60 in their recent league bout against Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Raptor play the Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores bout, on Tuesday, January 23. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 76-64 league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC).
