December 12, 2023: Mt. Holly, NC 28120 In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Christ the King Crusaders basketball team scored a good 71-58 triumph over the Mountain Island Charter Raptor.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores match, on Friday, December 15. Christ the King will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 63-48 non-league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
With the defeat, Mountain Island Charter moves to 6-2 on the year. The Raptor host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 13. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 3-2. East Rutherford won 70-60 in their recent non-league match against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
