January 19, 2024: Stratford, CT 06615 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) and the visiting New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT), saw Stratford's basketball squad overcome New Milford by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, Stratford improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Red Devils host Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT) to confront the Cougars in a Southwest challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-0. Kolbe-Cathedral won 63-39 in their recent league challenge against Masuk (Monroe, CT)
Next up, the Green Wave confront the Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Friday, January 26. New Milford will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 80-66 league loss to Bunnell (Stratford, CT).
