In Friday's league outing, the Shepherd Pirates (Shepherd, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), by a margin of 66-37.

The Pirates (15-12) will now prepare for their outing against Onalaska (Onalaska, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region III District 23 outing with a 13-15 record. In their last outing, Onalaska was trounced by Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX), 76-73, in a league outing.
