In Friday's league match, the host Llano Yellowjackets basketball team scored a tight 33-30 triumph over the Blanco Panthers.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX) in a 3A Region I District 5 match, on Tuesday, January 23. Llano will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Buffaloes enter the match with a 2-20 record after their 58-31 league loss to Brady (Brady, TX).

With the defeat, Blanco moves to 12-16 on the year. The Panthers travel to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX) to meet the Warriors in a 3A Region I District 5 match on Tuesday, January 23.
