January 30, 2024: Blanco, TX 78606 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) and the visiting Comfort Bobcats/Deer (Comfort, TX), saw Blanco's basketball squad overcome Comfort by a tally of 44-34.
With the victory, Blanco improves its record to 15-16 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Brady (Brady, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 17-16. Brady won 34-33 in their recent league challenge against Llano (Llano, TX)
Next up, the Bobcats/Deer confront the Florence Buffaloes (Florence, TX) in a 3A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Comfort will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 2-23 record after their 31-19 league loss to Ingram Moore (Ingram, TX).
