Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit crushes Christian Liberty
January 19, 2024: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Christian Liberty (Arlington Heights, IL), 43-17 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Beloit upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Sobos travel to Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL) to play the Eagles in a Northeastern bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-5.
Next up, the play the Schaumburg Christian Conquerors (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 22. Christian Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Conquerors go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 46-40 league loss to Alden-Hebron (Hebron, IL).
