Mississippi High School Basketball - Pascagoula overwhelms George County
January 19, 2024: Lucedale, MS 39452 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Pascagoula Panthers (Pascagoula, MS) and the host George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS), saw Pascagoula's basketball squad wallop George County by a tally of 59-35.
With the victory, Pascagoula improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hancock (Kiln, MS) to confront the Hawks in a 6A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 20-1. Hancock won 68-23 in their recent league challenge against Picayune (Picayune, MS)
Next up, the Rebels confront the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) in a 6A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. George County will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 51-30 league win over Long Beach (Long Beach, MS).
