The St. Louis Sharks basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Ithaca Yellowjackets to 24 in the Sharks league victory on Friday.

The Sharks now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestaburg for a non-league contest on Monday, January 22. St. Louis will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 43-35 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-5.

The Yellowjackets (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bullock Creek (Midland, MI). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Bullock Creek triumphed over Farwell (Farwell, MI), 46-32, in a non-league contest.
