Oregon High School Basketball - St. Mary's ripped by Sutherlin
January 19, 2024: Medford, OR 97504 The Sutherlin Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and held the host St. Mary's Crusaders to 20 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookings-Harbor for a 3A Far West contest on Saturday, January 20. Sutherlin will battle a Bruins team coming off a 48-5 league win over Douglas (Winston, OR). The Bruins record now stands at 7-10.
The Crusaders (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Lancers enter the 3A Far West contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, South Umpqua was routed by Cascade Christian (Medford, OR), 62-15, in a league contest.
