New Jersey High School Basketball - Cherokee ripped by Camden
January 20, 2022: Camden, NJ 08103 The Camden Panthers basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Cherokee Chiefs to 37 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul VI for a Olympic - National contest on Saturday, January 22. Camden will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-58 league loss to Woodrow Wilson (Camden, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
The Chiefs (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Cherry Hill East (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Cougars enter the Freelance contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Cherry Hill East triumphed over Shawnee (Medford, NJ), 43-41, in a non-league contest.
