Idaho High School Basketball - Rocky Mountain tops Centennial
January 20, 2022: Meridian, ID 83646 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies (Meridian, ID) and the visiting Centennial Patriots (Boise, ID), saw Rocky Mountain's basketball squad knock off Centennial by a count of 53-45.
With the victory, Rocky Mountain upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Mountain View (Meridian, ID) to play the Mavericks in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. Mountain View lost 57-52 in their recent league challenge against Eagle (Eagle, ID)
Next up, the Patriots play the Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies (Greenleaf, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 21. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 69-29 league loss to Rimrock (Bruneau, ID).
