Idaho High School Basketball - Eagle holds off Mountain View
January 20, 2022: Meridian, ID 83642 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Eagle Mustangs (Eagle, ID) and the host Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID), saw Eagle's basketball squad hold off Mountain View by a tally of 57-52.
With the victory, Eagle improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Kuna (Kuna, ID) to confront the Kavemen in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Friday, January 28. The Kavemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies (Meridian, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge, on Saturday, January 22. Mountain View will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 53-45 league win over Centennial (Boise, ID).
