Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID), 55-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Timberline (Boise, ID) to play the Wolves in a 5A Southern Idaho bout on Saturday, February 5. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 12-6. Timberline won 37-35 in their recent league bout against Skyview (Nampa, ID)

Next up, the Kavemen play the Capital Golden Eagles (Boise, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho bout, on Thursday, February 10. Kuna will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 2-15 record after their 69-34 league loss to Owyhee (Meridian, ID).
