Minnesota High School Basketball - Annandale knocked off by Eden Valley-Watkins
January 20, 2023: Eden Valley, MN 55329 The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Annandale Cardinals to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City for a AA Section 3 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Eden Valley-Watkins will battle a Falcons team coming off a 70-47 non-league win over Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-8.
Next up, the Cardinals play the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Annandale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 50-41 non-league loss to Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN).
