Minnesota High School Basketball - Eden Valley-Watkins edges New London-Spicer
February 11, 2023: Eden Valley, MN 55329 The Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) basketball nipped the visiting New London-Spicer Wildcats (New London, MN), 55-53 in Saturday's league test.
The Eagles (13-5) will now prepare for their test against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Bulldogs go into the AA Section 3 test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Paynesville got by Kimball (Kimball, MN), 73-52, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Dassel-Cokato for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. New London-Spicer will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 62-59 non-league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Chargers record now stands at 15-6.
