The Cahokia Comanches basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Granite City Warriors to 52 in the Comanches non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comanches now sport a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centralia for a South Seven contest on Friday, January 27. Cahokia will battle a Orphans team coming off a 42-37 non-league win over Herrin (Herrin, IL). The Orphans record now stands at 17-4.

The Warriors (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Belleville East nudged Belleville West (Belleville, IL), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
