Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI), 72-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Redford Union upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Panthers host Melvindale (Melvindale, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a Western Wayne bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Melvindale lost 60-57 in their recent league bout against Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI)
