Michigan High School Basketball - Romulus tops Melvindale
February 3, 2023: Romulus, MI 48174 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Romulus Eagles (Romulus, MI) and the visiting Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI), saw Romulus's basketball squad knock off Melvindale by a tally of 69-51.
With the victory, Romulus improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI) to play the Chargers in a Western Wayne challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Crestwood won 87-79 in their recent league challenge against Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Robichaud Bulldogs (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Western Wayne challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Melvindale will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 57-50 league win over Redford Union (Redford, MI).
