In Friday's league outing, the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), by a count of 87-58.

The Knights (10-11) will now prepare for their outing against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats go into the 4A Desert Sky outing with a 17-6 record. In their last outing, Mesquite smashed Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 68-43, in a league outing.

The Sabercats now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a 4A Desert Sky outing on Tuesday, January 24. Saguaro will clash with a Sentinels squad coming off a 53-46 league win over Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 11-11.
