The Hammond Central Wolves basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Hammond Morton Governors to 37 in the Wolves league victory on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Griffith for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. Hammond Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 64-21 non-league loss to Portage (Portage, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 4-15.

The Governors (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Gary West Side (Gary, IN). The Cougars come into the Great Lakes contest with a 1-16 record.
