Florida High School Basketball - Montverde Academy overwhelms DME Academy
January 20, 2024: Montverde, FL 34756 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL) and the visiting DME Academy DME Academy (Daytona Beach, FL), saw Montverde Academy's basketball squad wallop DME Academy by a tally of 76-31.
With the victory, Montverde Academy improves its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to La Lumiere (La Porte, IN) to confront the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 12-3.
Next up, the DME Academy confront the West Oaks Academy Flame (Orlando, FL) in a Grind Session - Southeast challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. DME Academy will attempt to improve on its 19-6 season record. The Flame come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 82-55 league loss to Balboa School (Escondido, CA).
