January 20, 2024: New Palestine, IN 46163 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) and the host New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN), saw Franklin Community's basketball squad overcome New Palestine by a tally of 81-67.
With the victory, Franklin Community improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Grizzly Cubs travel to Martinsville (Martinsville, IN) to confront the Artesians in a Mid-State challenge on Friday, January 26. The Artesians come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Martinsville lost 74-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 24. New Palestine will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 15-0 record after their 62-60 league win over North Central (Indianapolis, IN).
