Indiana High School Basketball - New Palestine tops Shelbyville

February 9, 2024: New Palestine, IN 46163

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the New Palestine Dragons (New Palestine, IN) and the visiting Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), saw New Palestine's basketball squad knock off Shelbyville by a count of 72-52.

With the victory, New Palestine upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Dragons host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Connersville lost 48-35 in their recent league challenge against East Central (St. Leon, IN)

Next up, the Golden Bears play the Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage challenge, on Friday, February 16. Shelbyville will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.
