Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the host McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA), saw Hoover's basketball squad overcome McLane by a tally of 71-52.

With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Patriots host Sanger West (Fresno, CA) to confront the Hornets in a North Yosemite challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 9-11.

Next up, the Highlanders confront the Fresno Warriors (Fresno, CA) in a North Yosemite challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. McLane will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 56-54 league loss to Roosevelt (Fresno, CA).
