Oregon High School Basketball - Sutherlin overwhelms Brookings-Harbor
January 20, 2024: Brookings, OR 97415 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) and the host Brookings-Harbor Bruins (Brookings, OR), saw Sutherlin's basketball squad wallop Brookings-Harbor by a tally of 52-19.
With the victory, Sutherlin improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Valley (Grants Pass, OR) to play the Knights in a 3A Far West challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-3. North Valley won 48-30 in their recent league challenge against Douglas (Winston, OR)
Next up, the Bruins play the South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) in a 3A Far West challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Brookings-Harbor will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 47-39 league loss to St. Mary's (Medford, OR).
