Ohio High School Basketball - Northwest crushes Minerva
January 20, 2024: Canal Fulton, OH 44614 Northwest Indians (Canal Fulton, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Minerva Lions (Minerva, OH), 52-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northwest upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Indians travel to Washington (Massillon, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Washington lost 50-43 in their recent non-league bout against GlenOak (Canton, OH)
Next up, the Lions play the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Minerva will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 59-35 league loss to West Branch (Beloit, OH).
