The Cortland Purple Tigers basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Oswego Bucs to 63 in the Purple Tigers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Purple Tigers now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan-Elbridge for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Cortland will confront a Eagles team coming off a 56-39 non-league win over Canastota (Canastota, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Oswego falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Fulton (Fulton, NY) to confront the Red Raiders in a Section 3 Salt City - Empire game on Wednesday, January 22.
