The Oswego Bucs (Oswego, NY) basketball edged the visiting Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY), 65-60 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Bucs now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Camden for a non-league bout on Friday, December 13. Oswego will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 70-61 league loss to New Hartford (New Hartford, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Cortland falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Purple tigers host Bishop Grimes (East Syracuse, NY) to play the Cobras in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12.
