The Admirals (20-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS). The Greyhounds come into the 7A Region 4 challenge with a 9-9 record. In their last challenge, Ocean Springs prevailed over St. Martin (Ocean Springs, MS), 51-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Taylorsville Tartars (Taylorsville, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Tartars come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 62-32 non-league loss to Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS).
