In Monday's non-league contest, the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers basketball team scored a close 41-39 win over the Ada Bulldogs.

The Golden Gophers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH). The Rams come into the Northwest Central contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Upper Scioto Valley was tipped by Arlington (Arlington, OH), 49-19, in a non-league contest.
