The Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) basketball were winner over the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH), 42-29 in Thursday's league bout.

The Rams now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Ada for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Upper Scioto Valley will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-15 league loss to McComb (McComb, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Ridgemont moves to 5-8 on the season. The Golden gophers host Vanlue (Vanlue, OH) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Saturday, January 25.
