Ohio High School Basketball - Upper Scioto Valley trounced by Elgin

The Upper Scioto Valley Rams basketball squad (McGuffey, OH), was crushed 53-29 in Thursday's league battle with the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH)

With the victory, Elgin advances its record to 14-8 on the year. The Comets travel to Cardington-Lincoln (Cardington, OH) to meet the Pirates in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 10-11.

The Rams now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central battle on Saturday, February 8. Upper Scioto Valley will meet a Polar Bears squad coming off a 48-10 non-league win over Calvary Christian (Bellefontaine, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 13-8.
